We are excited to announce our Second Annual WUE Glow Party on Friday, February 27th!
This fun-filled event gives students the chance to spend time with friends while enjoying great food, a live DJ, and glowing black lights throughout the night.
The cost to attend is $12 in advance ($15 at the door) and includes an entry wristband with:
Access to the Glow Party
Two slices of pizza and a drink
A live DJ with black lights
A two-item Glow Pack
Access to the photo booth
Students may also preorder a limited-edition Glow Party t-shirt for $15. All shirt orders must be submitted by February 16th.

Families and caregivers of nonverbal or minimally speaking children are invited to our next WB-RISE meeting.
This gathering is designed to build community and provide a supportive space to share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another. A district speech pathologist and AAC coach will be on hand to help guide the conversation and offer support.

We are excited about celebrating Black History Month at the WUE! This month our students will learn about amazing individuals who have made positive impacts on our lives and our world!
Through classroom lessons, shared powerful quotes, activities, and so much more; we will be able to see positive examples of hope, love, and education.

Today we officially opened WUEmart during lunches for our students to cash in WUE Bucks that they have earned for great behaviors and attitudes for some amazing goodies! It was a GREAT first day (see the visual for some snapshots).
We want to keep our store stocked, so we are reaching out to all of you to see if you can help STOCK THE SHOP and help us make sure we have a sufficient amount of items for this upcoming trimester.
If you could partner alongside us and help supply some goodies for the store, the students and staff of the WUE would be more than grateful. We have created an Amazon Wish List with some items. You can scan the QR code on the visual to access it or click the link below.

Today our 28 top spellers (one from each homeroom class) at the WUE competed in our first every-WUE Spelling Bee.
At the end of the competition, we had our top three spellers crowned. (see their names and Houses below)

Valentine’s for Veterans Candy Drive: Feb 2-9, 2026
From February 2–9, the WUE Student Council is hosting a Candy Drive to spread a little sweetness and a lot of gratitude. We’ll be collecting candy to create goodie bags that will be delivered to the veterans at our local VA hospital as a small thank-you for their service. Students can bring their candy donations to their homeroom teachers during the drive. Every donation helps us bring smiles, brighten days, and show our appreciation in a simple but meaningful way.
