Today Woodhaven-Brownstown School District celebrates International Day of Persons with Disabilities - it serves as a global reminder of the importance of inclusion, accessibility and respect for the rights and dignity of all people with disabilities. This year's focus encourages communities to remove barriers, celebrate strengths, and ensure all students have the chance to thrive in the classroom, community and beyond.

WUE Popcorn Fundraiser Distribution of Funds Update:
đź’ś The sale ended on Monday the 17th because it was extended. *great news* :)
💜 For PTO to get the funds, we had to do a test deposit/return- that has been completed now. ✅️
đź’ś Double Good hasn't sent the funds to us yet or the sales breakdown for each seller.
đź’ś While we wait for that deposit and sales report, if all parents could send an email to wuepto@wbsdweb.com stating their student's name, grade, homeroom teacher, and if they want a check issued to YOU or if you want us to submit it to Student Adventures (for 6th grade) or the Board Office (for 5th grade) to be applied to your account.
đź’ś Once those checks have been issued, we will confirm. ;)

The WUE has a couple of turkeys left if anyone is in need of one for Thanksgiving, or you know of a family in need.

The school will close for Thanksgiving break at 12:15pm on Wednesday, so the turkeys will have to be picked up before that time.

Giving Tree Update!
We have had a couple people asking if there are any other donations spots available. If you are looking on your phone, on the bottom of the sign up, click on “more ->” and it will take you to the next page. There are 3 total pages. As of 8:40pm Sunday we still have 19 spots left on pages 2 and 3.
