Woodhaven High School’s theater program is excited to invite interested students to participate in a special theater workshop event this spring! This event is a great opportunity for students who are curious about theater—whether they enjoy performing on stage, working behind the scenes, or want to explore both.
Event Details
Saturday, March 21st
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Woodhaven High School
Students will participate in engaging workshops led by members of the high school theater program. These sessions will introduce different aspects of theater, including acting, stage presence, and backstage production. No prior theater experience is required—just an interest in learning and trying something new!
WUE students will participate in the Backstage Bears portion of the event designed specifically for elementary and middle-level students.

March is about to get EPIC! Houses will battle it out in a March Madness–style tournament to see who has the BEST attendance—and the winning House will take home the WUE Cup!
Week 1: Seeding Week (March 2–6)
This week sets the stage! We’ll check attendance on Friday and rank each House from #1 (highest attendance) to #8 (lowest attendance).
Who will start at the top of the bracket? 👀
Week 2: The Elite 8 (March 9–13)
The battles begin! Houses go head-to-head for the week’s best attendance.

Only the top House in each matchup moves on! ⚡

The moment we’ve all been waiting for! The last 2 Houses face off to see who’s the ultimate attendance champion!
🏆 Friday – Winner announced & the WUE Cup goes to the champion House!
🍦 Plus, the homeroom in the winning House will celebrate with an Ice Cream Sandwich Party on Friday, April 10, when we return from Spring Break!

Tonight's Glow Dance is a DROP OFF ONLY event. The event is from 5pm to 7pm.
Students with pre-purchased wristbands can enter through the door near the gym. They are getting their bands put on during their homeroom at school today. If they remove them they need to turn them in to get a replacement or they will be required to purchase another band.
Door sales, please enter through the main doors near the office. Tickets are $15
There will be sales of the following for $1 per item: light up toys, candy, extra pizza & extra drinks. We accept cash, check, or paypal only.
There are a small number of extra tees available for purchase for $15 each. Please email wuepto@wbsdweb.com to claim (must pay via paypal).
