The Future Educators Association, FEA, is an organization built to prepare students for careers in all levels of education, however, is open to anyone who wishes to develop their skills in communication, adaptability, and leadership. FEA aids in exposing students to the role of a teacher early on through observation and having hands-on experience in the classroom.

After 15 years of dedicated leadership, Superintendent Mark Greathead has announced his retirement, effective June 30, 2026.

Congratulations, Coach Mifsud! 🏈💜
Woodhaven Warrior Varsity Football Coach David Mifsud has been voted by his peers as the 2025 Division 1, Region 3 Coach of the Year — an incredible honor he is receiving for the sixth time in his distinguished coaching career.
This recognition follows another major milestone: Coach Mifsud’s 2024 induction into the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
This season, he led the Woodhaven Warriors to an outstanding 8–3 record, continuing a legacy of excellence built over decades.
Coach Mifsud shared his gratitude for the honor, emphasizing the collective effort behind it:
“It’s awesome to be recognized this season — but this is TRULY a TEAM award. This award just reflects the hard work and the success the team had this year. I am so happy and so proud of this team and am honored to receive it on behalf of the coaching staff and all the players on the team. ‘Team Above Me.’ Go Warriors.”

Congratulations to the WHS Esports team as they had two teams qualify for states. The Mario Kart team (Karsten Richmond, Andrew Richmond, Tyler Moore, Nicholas Bussell) made it to the quarter finals.They finished in the top eight in the state. The Super Smash Bros. team (Gio Puyat, Max Dorton, Andrew Ferguson ) won their first match against Fraser and then lost in the semi Finals. They finished in the top four in the state. Great work team and congratulations to Coach Taylor as well. Another great season.
