The turf at Woodhaven High School has been home to Michael Pintar for more than 20 years — first as a player, then as an assistant coach, and now as the Varsity Head Football Coach of the Warrior program.
A proud 2005 graduate, WHS teacher, and longtime leader within our district, Coach Pintar understands what it means to wear the Warrior uniform.
“As a football guy, it’s a dream come true. I don’t want to coach anywhere else — this is where I want to be.”

In the Woodhaven-Brownstown School District, we are so grateful for our three outstanding SROs:
👮♂️ Raul Villarreal of the Woodhaven Police Department
👮♂️ Joe Mathews of the Brownstown Township Police Department
👮♂️ Bob McNamera of the Brownstown Township Police Department
School Resource Officers are so much more than law enforcement. They are mentors, educators, informal counselors, role models, and trusted adults. They build relationships, create safe learning environments, and help bridge the gap between students and law enforcement in meaningful ways.
Thank you, SRO Villarreal, SRO Mathews, and SRO McNamera, for the care, protection, guidance, and presence you bring to our schools each day. Our students, staff, and families are better because of you. 💙
