WBSD is proud to have two full-time certified athletic trainers, Brittany Tyler and Tim Relou, who are dedicated to meeting the health and safety needs of our student-athletes before, during, and after every practice and event.
From injury prevention and emergency care to recovery and return-to-play support, our athletic trainers play a vital role in ensuring every Warrior can compete safely and confidently.

Their expertise, care, and commitment are an essential part of our district’s broader focus on student safety, health, and wellness.

Additionally, our coaching staff is well-equipped and trained in CPR, First Aid, Stop the Bleed and AEDs.

WBSD employs a full-time Safety and Security Coordinator and 10 Safety Monitors stationed at Woodhaven Upper Elementary, Brownstown Middle School, and Woodhaven High School.

These trusted team members are visible throughout the school day - greeting students, monitoring hallways and common areas, and building positive relationships that help foster a sense of safety and trust.

Their daily interactions, vigilance, and care play an essential role in maintaining a secure environment where students can focus on learning and growing.
