This holiday season, our students are learning the true meaning of giving! ❤️ Miss Mahoney and her class joined forces with Ms. Turner’s class to spread holiday cheer through the gift of words. 📜💌
Our students wrote heartfelt holiday cards to the residents of Symphony Applewood Nursing Center, sharing kind notes and festive wishes to brighten their day. 🌟
The smiles and excitement on the kids' faces as they worked on this project were truly magical! 🖍️🎁 Together, we’re embracing the spirit of the season and making a difference— one thoughtful card at a time.

We are excited to host a Cookies and Movie incentive, “Prepping for a Landing at Winter Break,” for our fifth and sixth-grade students, and we need your help to make it a success! This event is a fun reward for students who have shown outstanding effort and behavior. We are looking for volunteers to assist with setting up cookies, making hot cocoa, and helping with the smooth operation of the event. Your support would make a big difference in creating a memorable experience for the students. If you are available to help, please let us know! Thank you for your time and generosity.

Hello 5th Grade Parents,
Thank you to those who came out to get some information on 5th grade camp.
If you could not make it out that is ok, I am sending out ALL of the information that was presented, so you are up to date with EVERYTHING 5th Grade Camp.
We will be sending out more information as we get closer to camp that will include due dates, fundraiser opportunities, and so much more.
Our goal is for ALL students to go to camp, so please let us know if you need assistance, and we can see what we can do to help out.
Finally, our next parent information night will be on February 6, 2025. Look out for all of the details for that important information.

WUE-WEE!! Woodhaven Upper Elementary students showed their generosity by donating toys for Toys for Tots with the Woodhaven Kiwanis. Students from the WUE Charity Club, under the direction of Mrs. McCollum, stuffed a bus full of toys during the WUE's 15 Days of Giving Celebration.
Please make sure your child wears a coat to school each day, so they have what they need for outdoor recess. If you need a coat for your child please let us know and we can help assist you with that need.
We want to make sure all of our Warriors are safe.
Remember tomorrow is our monthly WUE Family Night at Buddy's Pizza on Allen Road.
From 11am-9pm, mention the WUE (dine-in) or use the code GIVE BACK (online) and the WUE gets a percent of the earnings.

The WUE is having a Toys for Tots drive until Tuesday the 10th.
Please bring in new toys with your student, so they can be a part of the 15 Days of Giving Celebration here at the WUE.

Thursday is Lions' Day here at the WUE!
We are encouraging everyone to wear their Lions' gear and colors to school.
Let's show some spirit for our team as they have a big game against the "cheeseheads".

Happy Thanksgiving to our WBSD Families!
Today our WUE PTO blessed the staff with Staff Thankfulness BINGO where each staff member had a BINGO board and the first 10 Bingos were able to choose from mystery envelopes that contained anywhere from one cent to one hundred dollars! Our staff had a blast and congrats to our winners! Thank you PTO for showing us that what we do matters and in recognized!
