We are having the leaders from Clear Lake Camp (Where we will be having 5th grade camp) here Thursday the 6th to talk to all parents and students. This is a very important meeting as we are hoping that ALL 5th graders go to camp. Times for 2/6: 5:45pm Houses A and B 7pm Houses C and D

Next week at the WUE we will be having a Spirit Week to celebrate National School Counseling Week. We are blessed to have Mrs. Klaas and Mrs. Kanagawa here at the WUE. They do so much each and every day for our students and our staff. Let's show our school spirit next week and our appreciation for these two wonderful individuals here at the WUE!

📚❄️ Reminder - NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Wednesday, January 22, 2025. ❄️📚 Due to dangerously cold temperatures, all Woodhaven Brownstown School District buildings will be closed on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Take a cue from Sidney, who can usually be found at Bates Elementary School, to snuggle up, grab a good book, and dream of warmer days ahead. Sidney has the right idea, bundled up and enjoying a story! 🐾📖

All Woodhaven-Brownstown School District schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 21 and Wednesday, January 22, 2025 due to extreme temperatures and wind chill. Please stay safe and warm!

Families will purchase a box of 60 candy bars for $34 and then sell the chocolates for $1 a bar and keep the $26 to put toward the cost of the trip. Chocolate pick up: January 27th 3:30-6:00 PM and then each morning before school until February 14th. Cash or check can be turned in to purchase a new box or sent in via Paypal- WUEPTO@wbsdweb.com Please add $1 per box to Paypal payments for the fee.

If your child is going on the 6th Grade Chicago Trip or to 5th Grade Camp, we have a great way for you to pay for those trips without any cost to you! Our PTO is assisting families with a Chocolate Bar fundraiser where all proceeds go straight to the trip! Check out the flyer for more info!
