Today, we celebrate World Autism Acceptance Day, a time to recognize and support individuals on the autism spectrum.
Autism affects 1 in 36 children in the United States.

Thanks to the BSA, Black Student Alliance, a few WHS students had the opportunity to take a field trip to the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. The students enjoyed the trip and had a great time.

To celebrate Tiger's opening day, we are going to be offering hot dogs, chips, and watermelon/fruit salad in addition to our normal menu on Friday 4/4/25! Students will still have access to the salad bar as well. As always, each student can receive one free reimbursable lunch.

Summer EBT is Back!
What are SUN Bucks?
SUN Bucks is the new name for Summer EBT. Eligible families of school-age children will receive $120 per child for qualifying groceries.
Who Should Apply?
Families that are not automatically enrolled should apply for SUN Bucks directly. APPLY HERE: https://newmibridges.michigan.gov/s/isd-landing-page?language=en_US
Note: Families will be automatically enrolled in SUN Bucks if they are already enrolled in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), or FDPIR (Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations) benefits or meet the requirements for free or reduced-price school meals. In other words, keep an eye out for $120 per child at the beginning of summer!
Where to Find the Application:
