WHS welding students put together a new jig for testing welds. This will be used to destructively bend test weld samples.

Through the United Sound program, 13 students with disabilities are paired with 32 peer mentors to learn, play, and perform music together — breaking down barriers and building lifelong friendships.
With support from Detroit Harmony and the leadership of WHS students Alex Vazquez and Miles Gawrych, this initiative is creating powerful change one note at a time. 💜🎺🥁

In support of Mental Health Awareness week students at WHS wrote words of encouragement.
WHS DECA is hosting a Cereal Collection to help local charities provide for children over the summer. The collection will be held during the 3rd hour May 13-29. The class to collect the most boxes of cereal will win donuts. Cereal can also be dropped off in the main office.

Last night, the Varsity Boys Baseball team hit it out of the park - both on and off the field! ⚾️ As part of Teacher Appreciation Week, the team honored WBSD teachers who have made a lasting impact in their lives. With beautiful weather, the Warriors capped off the evening with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Carlson! 💪👏
