This year, WHS took 18 DECA members to the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Atlanta, GA. Although we came home without any DECA glass (top three overall finish), I want to congratulate all of our ICDC competitors on a job well done! While there, students attended PD-style academies, competed in a variety of events, and experienced some of the city's best food and entertainment when time allowed. It was a great group, a great trip, and we all left with memories that will last a lifetime!

Congratulations to WHS Junior Lilly Diaz on clearing 11 feet 6 inches in pole vault. This is a new school record and this height automatically qualifies her for the division 1 state meet.
