Mrs. Garavaglia’s Honors Chemistry (4th & 5th hour) students spent the past month designing experiments and creating posters to showcase their results. On Wednesday, 4/2/2025, they presented their work in a poster session in the PBLZ at WHS, where students and staff had the opportunity to view their projects and ask questions. Students chose a trinomial to factor, then called out their binomials to see if they could “sink” their partner’s battleship. Congratulations to the Goon Squad who qualified for the FIRST Championship at the Michigan State Championship competition last weekend. The team once again won the Impact Award and ranked 46th out of 528 teams. They are one of 80 Michigan teams go to the World Championship.

BMS is hosting a cereal drive! Did you know that 1 in 5 students lack access to breakfast during the summer? Let’s come together to support our local community by donating cereal! To make things even more exciting—if our school collects 175 boxes, Mrs. Stork, Mrs. Williams, Mr. Blanks, and Mr. Johnson will dress up as breakfast food! But remember, this only happens if we hit our goal!
