The first day of school for all WBSD students is Tuesday, September 2 — but the fun starts before that! Check out these important dates for your school:

Before the 2025–26 school year begins, all parents/guardians must complete the Annual Enrollment Confirmation in Parent Connect. This quick online process ensures we have your current email, phone number, and emergency contact information in the WBSD system.
Completing this step is required before you can view your student’s teacher or class schedule.

Available in Parent Connect starting Friday, August 22 at 4 p.m.
Exception: Brownstown Middle School schedules/teacher assignments will be posted Thursday, August 21

☀️🕶️ Sun Safety in Action!
Mrs. Burke’s summer program students at Wegienka Elementary learned the science behind UVA & UVB rays and why sunscreen is so important. 🧴
After discovering how these rays affect our skin, students made ultraviolet bracelets that change color in the sun — a fun, hands-on way to see just how quickly we’re exposed to harmful rays. 🌞
