💜 Service in Action!
On Monday, 32 members of the Brownstown Middle School National Junior Honor Society, along with 4 staff members, volunteered at the Gleaners Taylor South Distribution Center. For two hours straight, students worked hard on two packing lines - helping prepare nearly 800 boxes of food to support around 20,000 people in our community.
This meaningful experience was made possible thanks to the Woodhaven-Brownstown Education Foundation (WBEF), which provided bussing through one of its grants.
Thank you, WBEF, for helping our students make a difference and for your continued support of hands-on learning experiences that strengthen our community! 💪💜
