The mission of the Woodhaven Brownstown Education Foundation (WBEF) is to build partnerships between the Woodhaven-Brownstown community and school district that enhance educational excellence by providing independent funding for innovative and enriching programs.

The WBEF  will: 

• Enrich our public school curriculum with programs and activities that provide diverse learning experiences to our students, and challenge them to reach well beyond their abilities

• Foster a culture of excellence in the District with the unique and creative opportunities available to staff through grants and mini-grants

• Give our teachers the opportunity to bring dynamic learning to the classroom.

During the 2024/2025 school year, the WBEF awarded $20,000 in classroom grants to 39 teachers, covered transportation for two Brew Crew field trips, and annually provides ten $1,000 scholarships to graduating Woodhaven High School seniors.
