In partnership with "Thru the Game," The Guidance Center is offering a three-part webinar series focused on youth mental health. On October 9th, we will discuss the topic of sports and its impact on mental health in our youth. It will feature former USA Olympian, Ben Pinelman, who will talk about his own personal experience and be available to answer questions. As a reminder, the State of Michigan requires public schools to take an official count of student attendance on two designated days each school year (one in October and the other in February).

WBSD families came together recently to learn more about fire safety from the Brownstown Fire Department in conjunction with the district's Early On TOTE Program. Families with children birth through five years old are invited to connect in these activities. The next event will be Storytime at the Trenton Veterans Memorial Library from 5 to 6 p.m. on November 7.
