🥍 Lacrosse + Learning = One awesome Wednesday! Our next Think Stretch check-in is at Erving Elementary (NOT Civic Park)! 📅 July 9 | ⏰ 12–2 PM 🏅 Learn lacrosse skills from WHS athletes & get closer to medal status!

📚✨ Students Give Back with Story Bags for Young Fives! ✨📚 Students from Mrs. Ray’s Alternative Learning and English classes at Woodhaven High School — part of the WEST Program (Woodhaven Excellence in Secondary Transition) — recently created story-themed book bags for the Young Fives students at Erving Elementary! Each bag was filled with everything needed to spark creativity and imagination all summer long: 📖 A blank book to write their own story 🎨 A coloring book and crayons for fun 🎡 A story starter wheel filled with exciting prompts 🧸 Two plush characters to inspire the plot 🗺️ A story map to help guide the writing 📝 Easy-to-follow instructions, including a space for students to personalize who packed the bag! This special project gave WEST Program students the chance to give back to the community that’s supported them. Materials were generously provided — and the students had a blast putting it all together. “We get a lot of support from the community and we wanted the opportunity to give back like others have given to us,” shared Mrs. Ray. “It was really fun to do, and I’d love for us to do it again!” Amazing job, students — you’re making a real difference! 💜 #WBSDWay #WarriorPride #StudentsGivingBack
